Creating organic traffic to your website is one of the most difficult tasks. With that being said, it's also the biggest investment of time and effort for you.

In the days of Facebook's promoted posts and Google AdWords, the immediate relief of shelling out some money for instant traffic is fascinating. But it is not sustainable. You get traffic now, but what happens when you stop paying? Will your content be found again?

That's why it's worth the effort. This type of ROI is not visible from the traffic you are paying.

There are better ways and better ways to get more organic traffic. Here are some straightforward ways to avoid them at all costs. I will discuss all of them in more detail. If you are ready to use the job properly and increase your organic traffic, these are the things you need to get started.

Create The Best Content Possible

Creating content for content creation, because you've heard that publishing regular articles is good for SEO, won't get you far. In fact, it can do a lot of damage to your reputation.

Your website represents your business. In many cases, this is the first impression a potential customer might have on your business.

You should not publish low quality blog posts as you do not provide all products or services across the board. It is not unreasonable to suggest that you write the best content every time you publish something.

Increasing Organic Traffic?

Well, it just so happens that search engines are as good as people being able to tell when you're calling your content. The better the quality, the better the organic traffic. It's also the kind of content that people will want to like on their blog and share with other people.

So, before hitting the 'Publish' button, give what you find.

Catch Less Hanging Fruit

Everyone wants to rank for those broad two- or three word key phrases because they are more searchable.  It's so competitive that unless you spend your months in it, you can't take the opportunity to rank for them. Instead of wasting your time on something that can't be achieved, follow the low hanging fruit of the long tail key phrase.

For example, if you're an SEO agency, don't bother trying to rank for the term "SEO agency." Chances are you'll never knock down heavyweights who are already ranked for the term. Instead, tease her a little more. Be clear by including your service area.

You can be even more specific by limiting it to the customer base. Is a specific group of clients serving you? Try to include your long tail key phrase. For example: "Agency for Nonprofit SEO in Albuquerque NM." This is a key phrase that you are most likely to rate. Not to mention it will also attract more targeted, organic traffic than a broad keyword like "SEO Agency".

Long tail key phrases closely resemble what the actual user will type in a search engine. Because users do the search as if they were querying the query, studies show that long-tail key phrases are running mostly because of relevance and less competition.

Write Regularly

Try some special studies to tell you what are the best days and times for you to publish a blog post. Just try to be consistent.

Aim at least once a week. Ideally better, but if you're running a business at the same time, it's harder to publish more often without the help of authors.

Search engines often update the site. But more importantly, consumers do. A site that is constantly updated tells users that you are serious about providing good content, which makes it worthwhile for them to spend their time reading it.

Regular updates keep coming back to people, which is why they share your content, communicate with it, and tell others about it. These are all signs that help promote organic traffic.

Guest Blogs For Traffic, Not SEO

Blog guest blogging for purely inbound links is a poor strategy because the value of those links is declining. However, guest blogging for traffic is still an incredibly implemented strategy. Although the internal link you receive at the end of a guest post may not have the same SEO value as before, it is worth exposing your content to a new audience.

There is also the cost of the traffic that comes from being published on a high authority site. Here are some of the best ways to keep in mind when posting guests:

  • Don't stretch yourself too thin. Aim for authentic websites with high quality content and decent traffic numbers.
  • Guest blogs on websites within your space. Posting guests on popular websites means little if you are not reaching your ideal audience.
  • Advertise your guest posts as if you own your posts. This other website shows that you really value the opportunity to post on their blog.
  • Check back regularly and respond to comments. Ideally, you want their visitors to be your visitors. Responding to comments is a great way to start this relationship.

Don't Anger Google

Angering Google is like cutting off your hands. Unfortunately, some SEOs want to test the limits of what they can and cannot do. Organic traffic should always be increased ethically, or you will sooner or later face a Google penalty.

Here are some tips to help you avoid these punishments:

  1. Don't make cheap connections.
  2. Never, never pay for inbound links.
  3. Do not use exact match anchor text.
  4. Do not publish low quality, scraped, or stolen content.
  5. Publish great content that is useful to users.

As I said at the outset, building organic traffic is difficult. Anything that promises to take a shortcut in a traffic avalanche will result in far more fines on the road. Embrace daily grinding by creating great content that helps consumers and provides solutions to what they are looking for. In the end, it will drive more organic traffic than any shortcut.

Social Media

You can also link your content to your personal blog, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, etc. If people come from social media and spend time with your content, this is a strong signal to Google that the content is relevant, useful, and interesting.

Use internal links

Once you've created a great backup catalog of content, you can link it to blogs and your website, and guide visitors to more relevant content. This can keep visitors on your site longer, which helps increase your search rankings.

This process is called topic clustering. We recommend that you watch a short video on the topic of clustering here.

However, do not overuse internal links; too many and it starts to look like spam.

Plugin In Blog Fair

Blog spare is a different place. Read, comment, and link to other people's sites and blogs, especially those that work in your marketplace, and they hope to comment and link to you, more possibilities Will be interesting

Quora is a good place to start. The obvious way to clear your voice is to spend some time answering people's questions about which you are an expert.

Encourage Incoming Contacts

Google prefers sites that have a lot of incoming links, especially from other trusted sites. Encourage clients, friends, family members, partners, suppliers, manufacturers, and fellow bloggers to link to your site.

The more incoming links you have, the higher your site will be because, more easily, it becomes more authoritative in the eyes of search engines.

But be warned: SEO snake oil salesmen try to lure Google from reputable sites with spammy links.

Conclusion

I have always believed that hard work pays off, and in practice, it is always true. On the web, it's no different. If you want more organic traffic then you have to work for it. This means doing your best every time, chasing opportunities, losing your competitors, being consistent, guest blogging strategically, and sticking to the good side of Google.
